Software / Computer Engineer - Systems Analyst

Decilog, Inc. has an immediate need for a Systems Analyst focusing on the Longbow Apache Helicopter, manufactured by Boeing in Mesa, Arizona. You will join our Willow Grove, PA office, serving as part of a 20-member virtual cross-functional team — the Software and Cybersecurity Branch — including US Army and external contractor personnel. As part of this team, the successful applicant will serve as a technical liaison with responsibility to communicate with the Longbow Apache prime contractor, Boeing and other technical groups within the US Government. You will have a high degree of autonomy in problem-solving and issue resolution related to the technical oversight of the Apache Helicopter mission processor software.

Note that this position is a hybrid with approximately 50% office work and 50% telecommuting with some travel.
Decilog’s extensive expertise has made us the contractor of choice for Apache helicopter matrix support for over thirty years. You will be trained by an experienced staff to ensure a speedy technical education and successful integration into our team.

Duties Include:
• Responsible for overseeing the accuracy and completeness of the documentation supporting the Apache helicopter’s
mission processor flight software
• Test requirement, test script, and test documentation review and analysis
• Onsite computer lab attestation of software components as a functional US Army representative
• Validation of live and virtual demonstration test results and investigating script error and related software issues

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, or comparable Engineering degree.
• DoD Confidential Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
• Ability to professionally interface with various levels of government and contractor personnel in meetings and teleconferences
• Proficiency with Excel features and macros, Eclipse, and Java is a plus
• Ability to work in a small office environment with multiple responsibilities and the dexterity to pivot between tasks

Limited domestic travel (4-6 weeks per year)

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $62,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
