Information Assurance Engineer / Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer Decilog Inc. – Picatinny Arsenal, NJ

Decilog is seeking an Information Assurance/Software Engineer to support our client at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey. The candidate’s primary role is using IA software to scan project source code and contribute to developing production quality software based on pre-defined software requirements and design. In addition, when no IA tasks are required the candidate will contribute to the development of the software, either through source code development or UX/UI designs. IA tools, such as Klockwork, Coverity and Fortify, will be used to aid the team in creating secure, robust software. The candidate will provide information assurance in accordance with process improvement procedures established and maintained by the organization. The candidate will utilize IA tools to ensure the software applications meet the necessary requirements and obtain any certificates needed for material release. Duties include software scans of multiple projects, relay findings to respective teams, give input on potential solutions, documenting work and results, and source code contributions. All development processes used are rated CMMI-level 5 and hence the processes involved are well-defined and project tools are in place to support all project processes.
The candidate will be expected to possess any certifications or training required by Department of Defense regulations. If any requirement has not been satisfied, the candidate will be expected to obtain the necessary credentials within the grace period allowed by the DoD. US citizenship is required.

We are seeking candidates with a computer science or software engineering degree and two or more years of software development experience with Android Java. C++ knowledge and experience are a plus.

Mandatory:
• Experience with an IA tool (Coverity, Klockwork, Fortify)
• Ability to demonstrate that target software applications pass the IA tests for material releases.
• Work with engineers to identify and fix issues causing software to fail IA tests.
• Willing and able to learn a new IA tool if the tests require a different tool.
